Dear God - we cry out for peace in the world. We cry out for peace among nations. We cry out for peace on our streets. Help us to see that peace for our neighborhood, our city and country begins in our own heart. Please O God give me a heart of peace today. Amen.

Lord, today we ask that the presence of Your Spirit watch over each one of us. Some of us recognize Your power and welcome it; others are not aware and yet enjoy the blessings of Your presence just because You are there and You care. I pray today for protection over each one of Your prayer warriors on this stream - keep us safe as we rally and pray for Your will in our lives and in the lives of others. In Jesus' name, amen.

Lord, I pray for a touch of your presence in my life today. May I carry You within my spirit so that every person who passes by me or stops to chat will receive a special blessing. May my eyes share your light; may my voice ring with love and acceptance, may my ears listen with understanding and may my heart feel with great sensitivity. In Jesus' name, amen.

Dear Lord - there are so many precious people here on the stream. Some of them I know a little, others better and some I have not yet met and maybe never will. But you know them all, they all are in your hands. Please bless them and fill them with your love, your presence and blessing in the days that are ahead for all of us. And for those who have special struggles along the path of life please help them to be assured that you are there with them - thank you Lord - in your name Jesus, amen.

Lord - sometimes we get a bit grumpy and not really appreciative of the weather we have for the day. When it is hot we wish it were cold; when it is cold we wish it were warm; when it is dry we wish it would rain; when it rains we wish it would stop. Lord we need the coolness to give rest; we need the warmth to produce growth; we need the rain for cleansing and refreshment and we need the dryness to just 'be' - as I experience the weather today it is my desire to allow it to make a change in my life spiritually as well. amen.
